·Manifesto

Life is meant to be blissful, joyful. I feel like playing my way through life like water, like fire, like the wind…and dance this path. Who am I with art? Who am I without art? Where do I start? Where do I finish? Art is like extension of my being, like my heart through that I invite freedom and knowing of my true Self.

Improvisation, as a concept,  is the freedom itself that just tunes my being into nowness of life and channels it into this world so I become a tool of art. There is no artist but the art itself.
The artist intuitively responds to Grace's call to creativity: sweetness is the dimension beyond time and space; infinite, fluid, unlimited, beautiful. This beyondness; I call it the sweetness.
The beyondness, or as I call it the “sweetness”,  takes  over and ideas pass through and manifest themselves and they become.  For me, the awareness of  being in a process of improvisation opens a way of getting in a state of expansion, regeneration, meditation through which pure creation flows. Awareness, co-operation, and collaboration are cornerstones of the creative process.

The daily experience of improvisation, of each gesture, deed and word, as life allows me to feel the intensity of freedom. It is this intensity, this state that I wake to integrate into my daily life. I start from a fabulous tool made available to me, the human body. This body of flesh, subtle and gross at the same time, accompanies me throughout my discoveries, surprises posed on the path of in-flesh life (lat. in = in and caro, carnis, f. = flesh, meat), of the life manifested in the flesh.
I'm not talking about surprise  as a synonym of phenomenon that is appreciated by today's society, but the surprise I am referring to is spontaneous; lived and experienced on a daily basis, in its simplicity and in its purest line, therefore without waiting, without projection or judgment.
The body is in matter, anchored in the moment.  It wanders only in the moment, it does not project, the body just is. It is only the thought that goes linear rather than following the natural movement. It holds on firmly in place and keeps linearity as an alternative to the present.
This route, that is often taken, seems to be the one and only path, and thus the moment, the present moment fades from the horizon.

Through daily listening to my incarnation, I let myself be carried by the waves of presence; Derrida calls it "the event experience" this non-foreseeable, this in-visible, indeed it is not a danger from my perspective,  the presence experiences itself as that very thought IS; this is the question of being consciously aware of who the thought or event is occuring to. The identification of this thought that plays as “I” and plans and tries to understand each experience, is itself the danger whereas the "experience of the event" is precisely unpredictable- an unfolding.
Take Jean-Paul Sartre’s concept in "Existentialism is a humanism" for example; man is always free, "man is freedom itself". He is the master of his life through his actions and his choices because he exercises his freewill.  He defines human-being as what image he projects onto the world and he is absolutely responsible for himself. Each choice comes from a subjective experience that bears its repercussions and impact on the whole. Sartre emphasizes that existence precedes essence and thus it removes any possibility that human beings may hide behind the dogmas or beliefs to avoid taking responsibility. However, I am not against either of them; whether the essence precedes existence or the other way around- these are just pointings to metaphysical dimension of being. I see that it totally is feasible and available to be free and still act responsibly according to these aspects because they are the two sides of the same coin. Improvisation enables me to experience and feel this state of consciousness and it is my tool of choice to free myself from all those illusive impossibilities and bring me back to my full potential, to my life experience. There is no point in judging the winding trajectory of the river which is the experience of life; since its moods puts us into the spot of self discovery throughout the journey, like a traveler gone to discover the world. Each and every traveler creates his or her impression on this trajectory, hence the total subjectivity of life experience. This constant subjectivity has the key of opening the doors of exchange based on construction but not on oppression.
